The Insular Mine

The Elemental Mine has been changed a lot (according to player feedback) and is now back as the Insular Mine.

The concept is the same as usual: Break clusters of colored blocks and obtain chests. Open the chests to get gifts. Obtain enough chests to get the divine.

How does it work?

The Grid


Break color clusters in the mine to make chests fall down. A cluster is made of at least 2 blocks of the same color that are juxtaposed. *NEW* - you don’t need anything to break the clusters (no specific resource as the previous Elementals), this has been completely removed for this edition of the contest.


A new chest will appear once you recover the previous one.*NEW* - You can see in which column and if it’s close to appearing thanks to the indication with the gauge on top of the column (the gauge fills according to the amount of clusters you broke)


*NEW* There is no more daily reset of the grid. If you want to you must break the whole grid with the “bomb” (for free 1x/day and then for 10000 equus).

The Chests

There are 3 types of chests: wooden, golden and crystal that contain gifts of a certain value according to their rarity.


*NEW* Once you retrieve a chest from the grid, it is displayed in the chest block. There are 3 slots for chests in this block. You can’t retrieve any new chest when the block is full.



*NEW* - Opening chests: You have to wait a certain amount of time to open a chest or use boosters to shorten the time of waiting by 4 hours, or use a Master key to open 3 chests at the same time without waiting.


Boosters can be obtained at the daily login (2x/day), found in chests, bought against passes or bought in packs during the special offers.

The master key can be bought as well once your 3 slots are full.

The Divine

You obtain the divine once you have obtained enough chests. Every chest obtained fills the gauge in the divine block. The rarer the chest, the more points are brought to the gauge.

Rehua is one of the Maori divines.

Rehua has a tiki you must fill with mana.

For that, you need to observe 3 turtle nests per day. And find out if there are any baby turtles:

When the tiki contains 1600 x mana, Rehua will give you a gift:

Oh my god. This is the best promo ever. The prettiest divine I've ever seen and it gives Nyx packs? It's almost too good to be true. Falabellas, magic hats, pumpkins, medallions and seals as prizes!? I'm dying of anticipation

Insular Mine

Liten Falabella? Plus all my fav BMIs in the Crystal ahh. Gonna have to work for that promo. How is it? I haven't played it yet. I missed the last mines due to inactivity

This was not my most favorite promo but it is addicting. Overall from the 1 day I am playing it is very easy. Where the groans will come in is after you unleashed 3 chests, you no longer can play. You need to wait for a certain length of time and from what I an seeing it can be from 11 hours and a bit for the wooden chests to 17 hours and a bit for the gold chest but not sure how long for the purple chest ( guessing over 20 hours).

Now you can shorten that time with a item that looks like a bottle with an "L' on it ( I am assuming that "L" is the hands on a clock)..but still looks like an "L". LOL.

You can also open all three with 1 pass ( this could get pass heavy).

You can also erase your whole board with a bomb that is free once and will cost 10K thereafter. You have unlimited clicks on the grid until you fill the three spots for the chests, then the board goes grey.

Seems super pass heavy - I'm just gonna use my technique of free BMI collecting then

So I estimate that it will take 3-4 months to fill the Tiki for Rehua to get the Nyx pack since his tiki needs 1600 points. So that's a total of 3 or 4 Nyx packs a year."

There's no Maori Divine out which needs 1000 points to fill? The most is 800.

However my water Maori gave me 7,5 water elements so far, owning since nearly 11 months. So roughly 0.7 elements per month // 8 per year.
Since Nyx ones need 1600, it could be indeed 4 Nyx per year.

Not sure about the ratio for air element (as I can't choose them in my black market list history and already used some) and the new earth element.

Curious how the new mine promo will be, since last one was extremely pass heavy

In love with Rehua, his design is absolutely stunning his pose doesn't remind me of any other divines which is a pleasant surprise

First--you need 560 points to get the divine. The points are not per chest as it was the last time. Each chest gives you points. The wooden one gives you 2 points. The gold gives you 3 and I am assuming the purple gives you 3.

In 2 days of playing I have spent 15 passes ( to open the chests immediately) and my points so far is 118 -- so about 20%. Now I could use the time boosters or wait and that would reduce my pass count (boosters) but waiting would have reduced my points. I am not finding I am getting stuck with no clicks to use but it does require strategy.

What will happen is a chest will appear above one of the lines of the grid. Only that grid will produce a chest and the chest on the top will show you which type chest it is ( wood,gold, purple). As you get rid of the squares ( they look like aliens) in that line, the chest will show a percentage line under it. So you must get rid of a certain number of squares in that line before it appears actually in the grid, in that line it is resting above. From there you need to bring it to the bottom.

So it is relatively easy but I can see spending upwards of 30/35 passes easily.

the Elemental Mine and Potions. The game plays like the Mine, but the chests/points strategy reminds me of the Potions.

As a potential strategy (we're only 3 days in so it's a little early to tell) I would make sure your chest slots are constantly full and counting down to open. The 2 daily boosters you get is enough to drop 1 wooden chest from a 12 hour wait to about 3 1/2-4 hours (as using 1 booster takes 4 hours off the wait and wooden chests have a 12 hour wait). As soon as your 4 hours are up, open that chest up ASAP so you can continue playing to drop another chest and earn points for the divine meter.

You could possibly time it right so that your "non-booster use" chests open when you collect from your workshops. I try to have western saddles crafting at all times which are also a 12 hour wait, so I could quickly drop/open chests when I log in to collect from my workshops.

I have no idea yet how or when the gold and crystal chests will start dropping. Once they do that will then affect your cool down times as the golden chests take 18 hours to open, while the crystal chests take 24.

The crystal chests earn 4 points, by the way

It seems that wandering horses starting from the seventh (Opera) are locked at the beginning of the event. Is their any possibility to unlock them faster?
Are there any estimations of how much it may cost to get the divine?

There is an option to pay passes to unlock them but the pass requirement increases the farther along that wanderer is. What I suggest is get some of the easiest ones done and pay 1-3 passes early on to get the first few locked ones unlocked. Unlock the others a little farther into the promo.

Insular Mines. Concerning the 10,000e for the bomb after the daily free one. Will it be 10k no matter how many are bought or does the price increase with each purchase?
