The Tryon Games

The concept relies loosely on the “ride” contests but there have been many changes.

The main idea is: there are several boards, with increasing difficulty. You progress with a pawn and roulette spins.

There are different types of squares: some give points, some give gifts, some make you move forwards/backwards.

The goal is to win enough points on a board to win a Cup. Once you have won the cup on each board, you obtain the divine.

How it works

There are 8 boards in total + 1 for the tutorial.

Each board represents a discipline from the World Equestrian Games: Reining, Endurance, Dressage, Cross-Country, Jumping, Vaulting, Para-equestrian and Carriage.

When a board is completed by accumulating enough points, you win the related cup. The boards increase in difficulty and some boards require you to have won a certain number of Cups to be unlocked.

You have to spin the roulette wheel to progress forward (by 1 to 3 steps). You win roulette spins by:

- logging in each day
- in the chests you can find on the boards
- purchasing them with passes

Pieces on the board

The player sees a gauge that has to be filled to win gifts – once it is full, you also win the cup related to the board.

(It is possible that you don’t manage to get all the points on the first run. In this case, you can go through the board a second time to get the missing points)

There are different types of squares with different effects:

Demonstration
This brings you points for the gauge

Bonus/Malus
You move forward or backwards a certain number of squares

Objective
You have to complete an objective or way for a certain amount of time to move on

Teleporter
You can teleport to any other teleporter on the board.

Chest
It opens a chest with random gifts (there are 3 types of chests, wood, gold and crystal)

Boosters

To get more points/gifts faster, you can use the Encouragement booster to transform the 3 squares in front of your game piece into a Teleport Point, a Crystal Chest, and Demonstration Square +15.
**The effect lasts only for the next move that your game piece makes.**

Winning the Divine
Win the cup on each board to obtain Mahuika

Divine.

Click to display
Mahuika has a tiki you must fill with mana.

For that, you need to observe 3 turtle nests per day. And find out if there are any baby turtles:

1 x = 5 x mana
2 x = 20 x mana
3 x= 80 x mana

When the tiki contains 800 x mana, Mahuika will give you a gift:

1 x Fire element

This horse cannot be sold.

Is there meant to be 2 of some prizes? It seems we have once again been very lucky and have most, if not all, of the higher value BMIs. And it's quite good timing with the wild as my current one is very nearly 80 so will stop giving me diamonds soon.

Do you know where abouts it is likely to be possible to reach without passes/how many passes will be needed?

We are way to much at the beginning of this promo to make any pass estimate. I am still figuring the ins and outs of it.

Will update when I have a better understanding.

The prizes listed at the bottom (below the x15 AP point perhaps) are those that can be won from reaching a certain points threshold on the different boards. The prizes above that are ones you can find in the chest. I'm not sure which prizes are found within which chest yet.

Prizes for each board:
Reining board: 3000e?? equus and aging points
Endurance: mashes and Ow's Ray
Dressage: tractor and Air element
Cross-Country: A. Lyre and Water Element
Jumping: P.Stroke and Earth Element
Vaulting: Tryon's 3*** Saddle Cloth and Hera's Pack
Para-Equestrian: Pandora's Box and Nyx Pack
Carriage: Poseidon's Pack and Themis Scale

Question to the testers:

Click to display
If you complete a board to the star in the middle of the progress bar, do you have to reach the checkpoint or can you move on to the next board? And if you can, would it be possible to revisit boards after winning the divine in order to win the second prizes that they offer? Hopefully that makes sense.

Thanks!

I'm not seeing a star on a progress bar, but there are stars on the board that indicate an objective you can either finish, or wait, in order to spin again. Although if you mean the symbol in the first of the images Wingman posted, that is the equus symbol, not a stardefault smiley :)

You have to finish (reach the black and white checker point at the end) X number of boards in order to unlock further boards. The first 2 boards are unlocked from the start.
The Dressage, cross country, and jumping boards only require you to finish 2 boards to unlock them. The Vaulting board requires you to finish 3 boards, the Para-Equestrian requires 4, and the Carriage board requires 5.

Once you finish a board you can actually restart right away if you'd like, or wait until later. Your points remain the same as when you finish. For example, I finished the Reining board with 14 points, and I kept my 14 points when I restarted. I believe the pop-up told me I could still gain the prize(s) I had not won, which would be the aging points once I reach 15 points, but I think I remember reading somewhere that you can't gain them twice. Unless someone else has experienced this already, I'll have to keep playing before I can confirm.

Note that you can have multiple boards unlocked, and in progress at once. But you don't get separate spin amounts for each board. If you have 5 spins, then you have 5 spins to use currently, and that's it.

I think the next promo may actually be starting on Monday as the Fleeces are being taken down 1hr earlier than usual and this may be to make way for the fleece promo offered during the GC to Vip's, like everyone else i'm not 100% but if i were to take an educated guess that would be it default smiley :)

It’s happening to mine as well, so it might be some sort of glitch, but I’m sure it ends at 9:00 like it says on the banner.

The timing is related to your time zone. For example mine shows 4 AM. I am still going top go with a Thursday as the start date.
