The adult looks iffy. It looks like someone took the body of a breed i can't quite identify and stuck an Icelandic horse head on it, with slight alterations. It just doesn't match up.
The foal looks lovely, though still a smidge off.

Same thought over here, just with a Highland head instead.

@PalominoPinto
The Germans were saying quite the opposite. Beautiful foal but disjointed adult.
Personally I'm not a fan of either but I'm happy to have a new breed to breed for coats (:

Found this kinda interesting,, default smiley :-))
After traced animals from google (eviroments wanderer's horses) I'm not even surprised,,

Well I don't mind them referencing but tracing is too far... get an artist that actually knows what they're doing rather than resorting to infringement...
Anyway it looks like these horses were just used as reference though I wouldn't put it past them as they may have traced before default smiley (8)

Well they have some similarities but on contrary to the Percheron (or which breed was it again?) and the adds on the enviromentals I wouldn't call that blatantly copied or traced.
I guess, if you search long enough you would end up with pictures looking similar to the horse's design.
And then what do you expect? If they want a breed looking close to the desired breed they have to refer to real images of them.

Not complaining at all, it's good to make it look more realistic using references,,
Just though it's kinda funny how Howrse make their illustrations (starting with traced enviromentals to marvel FA horse Loki) and then they come to players complain about strict rules on creative space, where they'll take an illustration down, even though it didn't break any rule, well not more than they do,, default smiley :-))

Anyway, I'm really happy that they finally made new coat with new visuals (didn't just take other coat, recolored it and called it different breed),,
Which also makes me think... Unicorns of this breed will, for the first time, be available only with Kaktos, right?
I'm definitely impressed that a new breed has been brought out with a new design, not the same image copy and pasted. I'm not interested in breeding new forest's or dartmoors because I could just breed a Connemara? There's no difference at all really default smiley (n)

Please try to avoid sparking a debate in the forums. Spoiler tags are required, even in this topic, to ensure that players using the forum search functions don't come across any information that may spoil the game for them. Some players enjoy the surprise of new developments.

Please remember to use the tags when mentioning anything upcoming that has not yet been implemented in-game. It would be beneficial to all if we can stick to the intended nature of this topic.

Looks like a nice lot of prizes! Do you know how much each prize is likely to cost/how far it is possible to get without spending passes?

You get a set price the first time you complete a certain level in the game. There are 26 of them and once you have completed them all with 3 Laurels rating you get the divine Goibnui.

The price list is the opposite of the levels but you can ignore everything behind the Ow's Helios Ray, those can be obtained by matching up certain cards.
So first level (also tutorial) gives you the OHR, second the western cloth, third the classical bridle, etc. pp. until the 26th level which is the Hermes' Winged Staff. The Russian Falabella is on the 22th level. The Kerry Bog on the 8th

How far you can get without passes depends on your luck and whether you keep track of your progress or not. The amount of laurels you get depends on how many lifes you have lost. For each wrong matching pair you lose a life. Those can be restored by matching up certain pairs, for daily login, collections and of course with passes. There will be packs with 6 lifes for a pass at the weekends.
So if you are really, really lucky you could end up with the divine on day one without any passes spent. Though it will be very unlikely of course default smiley ;)

Absolutely don't like the change, that you have to finish every game with 3 laurels.
Means if you're going for the divine and have some unlucky clicks, you have to restart your game.

Each restart it's easier and easier to complete with 3 laurels, so it's not a big deal,,
But of course they aim it so you would end up spending money on jokers, to get 3 laurels as soon, as possible,,

As a Unicorn breeder I see I might have to spend quite a few passes to get them even if they get to be in public sales relatively quickly... Oh well that's the price of having been super busy during the Kaktos event....

But I am excited for the new breed... I even had Hipparion at 2994 skills for over a year but as soon as event starts and it's in I can get it.

On the Colours of the new breed default smiley 8-)

Click to display
The colours for the kerry bog pony are poorly reflected,

the breed standard is "Any strong whole colour is to be found, but colour is generally brown or brownish black and bay. Some chestnut, grey and dun colours are also to be found" (kerry bog pony cooperative website)

The only reason there are coloured kerry bog ponys is that when they rounded up the last few ponies to save the breed there were 6 foundation stallions.

One had a wither mark which they assumbed was a rub but was actually a colored patch due to outside influences on the breed, There's is an active effort underway to remove coloureds and any mares/stallions that throw coloured foals are reclassed (I know a kerry bog pony breeder and a kerry bog pony that was grey but had dark coloured patches when wet (she threw coloured foals so wasnt bred any more )
