New Trophy

A 3rd Trophy for contests has been added.

NOTE: You won't see this unless you've completed Contest I and Contest II

Right now it's called Event III but it will be changed.

Underweight Horses

The warning message that you receive when your horse is underweight will now show the correct amount of fodder required (instead of the standard 20) to avoid overweight problems the next day.

This has also been adapted for VIPs who use the automatic food selection.

Was that really an issue? The only times I had 20 and overweight the next day were with foals.. But they are hard to underfeed anyways as they don't need oats..

And about the new breed. Is it just me or does it look like a TB crossed with a Highland?

Well looking at real life pictures, the Howrse representation is pretty close to the real thing.

The proportions aren't quite correct, and the head doesn't accurately represent the breed in my opinion, but it doesn't stop me from really liking this design! default smiley *-)

Looks pretty much like the skilset of Criollos.. Guess it's something for lovers of the breeed than Grand Prix aimers.
Had hoped for a better suited Reining breed..
Anything known about the coats yet?

Ah, nice skill set. I think it'd be good for grand prix actually, if that's the case. At least it won't be a totally bland skillset. Maybe the next breed will be either more dressage or reining orientated... If they get to making a new breed that is default smiley (8)
Either way I think this is my definitely my next project! I'm ready for another challenge! default smiley (y)

So the 5th (?) breed with Stamina, Speed, Dressage being best.. yawn default smiley (zzz)
Rather boring, when there are hardly any other possibilites for skill sets fitting Dressage or Reining etc. default smiley (o)

At least its not something stupid like stamina, dressage and trot or something along those lines. Breeds with those skillsets were always destined to fail, they don't really have a shot at grand prix, at least this one does.
But I agree, they could bring some dressage horses in..

Question is: Will that one be competitive enough?
There are Tekes, there are Criollos. ACs have the same skillset and a far higher GP by now. So why should one bother bringing the ponies up when they can do the same with an already existing breed?

It's even worse than that...

I just checked a Criollo with a similar GP and all three skills (stamina, dressage, speed) are higher than that of the Bog. The other three are lower than the Bog but those are unimportant.
So congrats on a breed which not just has a copied skillset but for one with a inferior allocation..

Okay fair enough, but like I say, much better than skill sets that don't specifically match a competition wouldn't you say? I'm not saying its the best at all, just glad its not something completely useless.
And I quite enjoy building up a breed from scratch, I find it can be very rewarding personally default smiley ^)

Can only agree with you, picked some unloved breeds no one was interested in on other servers and pushed them. I may end with only a good EC horse (excellent main stat) but I'm always a fan of underdogs which are better than expected if you put some love in.

Like Shalassa said, probably a breed for lovers of these.

The adult looks iffy. It looks like someone took the body of a breed i can't quite identify and stuck an Icelandic horse head on it, with slight alterations. It just doesn't match up.
The foal looks lovely, though still a smidge off.

But then Howrse has never been excellent with it's coat graphics. I'm just glad we are getting a new breed to be honest. It feels like it's been forever! And it's something that needs to happen far more often.

Actually updates/changes in general would be nice, instead of all these promotions all the time. The last big change was the EC one wasn't it?
