I expect it will be going live between the Pinata and Card promo. The card promo should start on the 8th of Nov so the new featurse will probably be released on the 6th or 7th of Nov..

As far as cost for the card promo will depend on how you play. For me it should take about 4000 passes ( new ones--40 old ones) if you take advantage of the pack which is..."""buy a pack of 4 cards for one pass only. Each pack contains 2 bronze cards (amongst which at least one of the cards you don't have yet) and 2 rarer cards""". However it is not exactly 1 pass, it is actually 95 passes ( new ones) so cheaper than previous promos.

Do we know how much passes will cost to buy after the changes? The cynic in me feels like this is just a way of putting up prices.

In Germany, we don't know. I don't think it's different here

From what I see, I don't mind the changes. Most are very good. Love the piggy bank and the "dust" but I imagine it won't save you that many passes....

My concerns are based around the rookie races changes... at the moment you can alto comp and fill your competitions to save time, I guess this will mean more time will be spent filling default smiley :-x :-x.

The sales fee is a bit ridiculous how does howrse expect us to make equus to buy BMI if they are taking such a large proportion of it? Like wise with passes 10% is a bit too much for my liking especially when they promote buying passes.... Will anyone like 10% to be taken straight off just to go into their pockets?And even if we get the "equus BMIs" that will be no doubt very expensive. I think 10% should be brought down to 5%.

Further to my post (see above) which I posted last week, I find it absolutely outrageous how howrse thinks it is acceptable to make buying passes more cheaper (save 45% more you buy) WHEN THEY PLAN TO TAKE 10%.... What a silly idea... what makes someone think that taking passes of people WHO PAY will want to invest more into the game. They're just killing the game for themselves... This new pass system will put off pass buyers because passes will mean less and I predict there will be a hammering to the pass economy at least on this server.

Again I am working on the assumption that information provided here is correct. I know this pass buying services haven't been confirmed yet but wanted to air my view.

I was feeling placated until I saw that they are rounding up everything! 10% of 11 is 1.1 not 2! Rounding 1.1 would be 1! Why would anyone ever sell anything for 11 when the buyer pays 1 extra and the seller gets no more! Nonsense...

That now allows some wiggle room for another seller. Do you sell at 11 passes and get 9 or go to 12 passes and get 10 back.

Of course selling at 12 means some one else may choose to undersell you and be willing to get 1 pass less.

And if you use the wiggle room you get up to 19% tax instead of 10. How difficult can it be to just have the tax round up and down, fairly?

If I sell some medium skilled horses for example for 11 each I'm paying nearly 20% tax per horse, if I sell 1000 that's very unfair. These things add up on small sales and I think Howrse should make it fair and round correctly.

I find it just disgraceful that howrse isn't sticking to their word yet again. A tax of 10% means a tax of 10% not 20% as shown in the above post.

Claiming to create a fairer system.... Hmmmm I don't know if it is "fairer." As we dig into this new system, we find more and more faults..,.. Proving this is nothing to benefit the players who play loyally and respectfully with regards to the rules, but in fact a way to increase pass revenue and taking them out of circulation... Is that surprising? NO.

I think howrse should have thought about it before the creation of a tax. Slight thought let passes run into decimals, whilst keeping at 10%. Why isn't this possible... Just unfair. Absolutely unfair!

As usual howrse tries to blindfold us. Using the ambassadors as a blindfold, they are making us think they are finally listening to us whilst of course they are doing what they deem best and what makes them the most money. Now, I do think they listen to ambassadors but name one that would ask for a 10% (19% as shown above) tax off of all our sales. Its a rip off, and to think they thought we probably wouldn't notice.

There are upsides like the pass pot and slightlyyy reduced BMIs (of course the luck ones aren't reduced though).

All in all, howrse is being sneaky as per usual. The 19% tax is awful, it should be rounded to the nearest as Chwi said. But theres not much point in arguing, nothing will change.

That is correct and the packs are 5 new passes.

The 1.1 pass tax rounding upward is being checked to see if that is correct or a bug.

The promo after the Pinatas will be the Thanksgiving Cards and Snowball Fight. You can see those features mentioned here and here on page 415 in this topic.

Bought 10 packs of cards, so 40 cards. No diamond cards. 15 duplicate cards. Completed The Meal and Native Americans, 4/5 cards for Iconic Locations and Pilgrim Feathers. 3/5 cards in The Parade and Historical Figures, and 2/5 cards in Around The World.
Got a few 5thEs, lots of APs and equus, 2** tack, smaller BMIs such as M Blood and Hypnos Blankets, and of course some apples/flax/fodder etc.

The "Bmi reductions" are just a deception, because if you convert the system back to old passes they have reduced most of them by 0.5% not the stated percentages (it's like they think we cannot count and work this out), i believe their whole reason for increasing the pass value was so that it "looked" as if they were reducing the items, when in actual fact they have done NOTHING to benefit players in any way and will be taking it all back from their 10% sales fee...Shame on you Howrse also for using the Ambassadors as a front for your schemes!!....I am seriously considering leaving after 6+ years on the game as i'm sick of your lies and Greed!! and that's not to mention the luck items not even being considered in your "reductions" as previously stated to players, I'm sick to the back teeth of your deception and not to mention what you have done to the current promo with the fleeces which i previously mentioned on page 415 (yet another good promo ruined by your drive for MONEY, disgusting!!)

I bought 25 packs in total and got 7 diamonds and 13 golden cards. And if I remember correclty, the rates haven't been much different from last time.
