Daily Objectives: Tips & Tricks

HellOw,

You can now complete two daily objectives each day! Some players can earn equus and others passes, depending on your seniority level.

Find your daily objectives on the homepage of the game, which is the page you see after logging into the game.

Completing the daily objectives seven days in a row will give a Horn of Plenty You can check on your progress through the gauge bar directly from the Daily Objectives.

Within this thread, players who need help, want to help, or just would like to share their progression with the daily objectives are welcome to post here.

All forum rules apply, which includes no advertising.

Warm Regards,
The Howrse Team

Does anyone have a foal born today that I can give an apple to? default smiley :)
It's easy. Go to the achievements menu, click best teams. Click any of the affixes Sharon on that page. Go to the last page of that affix and look at the last couple of horses with that affix. All the top teams are breeding every day so unless it's really early GMT wise, you will find one. Be aware it's toDay's date in the GMT timezone so double check. (Today is the 4/11/20)

It‘s way easier to congratulate some players and wait, because often either the people you congratulated or people who congratulated the person after you will congratulate you as well. If you are doing that it shouldn’t take long to get four congratulations.
I would start with congratulating people that have congratulated you last, then congratulate the people that congratulated them, and so on.

Used to play a long time ago and I'm back again, a lot of things have changed. My objective today is to personalise my profile page, how do I find this?

Click on the player icon in the top right corner, go to your profile and then scroll down to your presentation. On the right side of your presentation are three tiny buttons, click the first from left to edit your profile. Then the objective should be completed.

Sorry if this is obvious, but I've had a few objectives relating to rosettes recently - how doI win a rosette?
If it a different kind of competition? Or related to the Grand Prix?
Thanks in advance!

Rosettes are found in high prestige competitions, to enter these the horse must be highly skilled and at least 11000 Genetic Potential, they are found in the main competition area

Rosette competitions are just regular competitions that are very prestigious.
What makes a horse able to access (and therefore have any chance to win) rosette competitions is their primary skill, which is the main skill used in a competition, such as stamina in cross country.
Since most rosette competitions are set at high difficultly a horse will need at least around 3,500 points in the primary skill to access them, and also high secondary skills (the other two skills used in the competition, such as dressage and jumping in cross country) and bonuses to have a good chance of placing 1st.

If you have a suitable horse you will be able to identify rosette competitions by the bright, colourful icon next to the competition name in the entry list.
As a side note, GP isn't directly important, and there is no minimum amount needed to access rosettes. Just the primary skill matters.

Hi - thank you so much for answering!
I'm still a little confused - I do have some high-skill horses but still can't see any rosette competitions - e.g. I have a Selle called Milli (has over 2000 points in speed, dressage and jumping, with jumping being highest) but when I look at the showjumping competitions I can't see any that have rosettes? Does the horse have to have won 20comps already?
Thanks!

Yes, most if not all rosette competitions are reserved for horses with 20+ wins. Show jumping tends to have the largest selection of rosette competitions with some requiring as low as 3,300 jumping points to access. Even with 20 wins Milli will be unlikely to see any rosette competitions with her jumping skill.

You'll find your workshop page under Equestrian center > Workshops. I believe you start with one automatically, and can build or buy more if you wish. If you don't currently have any you can buy one by clicking the green shopping cart button on that page.
You can begin a production by clicking the green "Produce" button to the right of your workshop and selecting what you want to make. Take note of the production time as some items take a lot longer than others, then confirm and just come back when the product is done. You will be able to then collect the completed products from the same workshop page, by clicking the green "Retrieve" button.

I've been reading back through this thread and am seeing a lot about a 7 day streak to get a HOP. When does that kick in? My three objectives at the moment are "Have 5000 equus in reserve", "Log in for 7 days consecutively" and "Log in for 10 days consecutively". I only have about 600 equus after setting up my EC yesterday!

Sounds like you're still on your apprentice breeder objectives. The final apprentice breeder objective (102) rewards you with access to the daily objectives. Then you will get two objectives a day and if you complete both for 7 consecutive days you will win a Horn of Plenty.

Hi sorry if this is obvious but when an objective says 'get a new trophy' what exactly is it refering to?

Under achievements and then trophies you can see all trophies you can get, the ones you already have and how close you are to getting a new trophy. The objective wants you to get a new one of those wich can be either a completely new one or getting the next trophy of a certain kind of trophies (I don’t really know how to describe it). For example, when you already have the trophy 'Animal friend' for being the breeder of a horse associated with one animal you could get the second 'Animal friend' trophy for being the breeder of horses associated with two different animals.

Adding to the above answer, the easiest trophy for you to get now would likely be the trophy for collecting all coat colours for the Friesian breed, since the only one is black. If you don't already have access to sales you can just cover any of your purebred mares (your Vanner, Sandy, for example) to a purebred Friesian stallion, which would produce a crossbred black Friesian foal. If you do have access to sales you can also simply purchase any Friesian to earn the trophy.

Hey, so I have an objective and it is to get an item by donation. I only have a few friends and they haven't been on in a few days so I don't know how to complete this objective
By Retired breeder, 17th November 2020 03:49:08
Easy, just get some friends and send them a gift and a PM asking to return with another gift. Just like something useless like apples or something. That’s it! If you need help then get a new friend and ask them as well. Try sending a gift and PM to all your friends to increase chance of getting a something. Also, big thing, don’t ask for anything special!
