Follow the objectives Emma gives you (age and train) and you'll get a pop up for the sales where she will give you a free stallion to start

i see your mare is 9 years old. You should have had a pop up when she reached 2.6 years. So you either missed it or it did not show up.

There seems to be a bit of a glitch as there are players on other servers that are in the same spot you are.

I suggest you send in a ticket to support as that is what was suggested on the other servers.

I'm just going to wing this and hope for the best - good luck everyone else!
Like HighWing said; it is disappointing that prizes are locked behind a paywall. I really liked the idea of working and using resources on breeding these horses to choose a Divine.
There is also no chance I will use any BMI items on these horses.
Regardless-- Howrse on the next event could let us keep the horses bred and balance out the prize pool better.. c'mon motivate us default smiley xd
For now I'm grabbing all the freebies I can.

Is anyone else experiencing extreme slowness and lag on the game since the Ephemeral promotion began?

Yeah, I never get any lag, but this is ridiculous. My WiFi is fibre optic and the lag is stupid default smiley (d)

Not too bad considering you get two divines for £15; and if you're lucky to get 1st-3rd, you get 3! You would spend more buying them yourself with either passes or money. So I think it's fair. default smiley (y)

Thank you for the advice wingman and Lilith, but it seems to be a bug as I’ve done everything I can and still there’s nothing in sales. Also, I definitely did not miss it as it happened to me over 2 servers and I remember seeing nothing about a new horse. At the end when I finished ageing Emma told me to click on the sales but it said there was nothing there.
I’ve sent a ticket to howrse and hopefully this will be sorted soondefault smiley :)

You need to give your horse full tack.

I was confused at first, too, but it's bonus points rather than skill points. And it doesn't have to be all on one horse. So tack, wraps, whips etc. all count.

Does anyone else keep looking at 'Meet me on the event page when you've finished your mare's day.', despite having used several aging points? default smiley :o

It's constantly showing, not only in my own account but also in two co's.

I really don't understand the point of this event. We don't even get to keep the horses we spend time caring for and adding tack to. It feels like I'm just playing a weird version of the tutorial with the beginner objectives.

It's not fun as it's literally just the same, caring for a horse rather than an event. As others have mentioned, the worthwhile prizes are locked behind a paywall. Like, come on, the top free-to-play prize is 500 passes, but that hardly seems worth it.

I have no motivation to do this event. Why choose Appaloosa? It's a breed we already have, no new graphics or things to do with the new horses. I actually think this is the worst idea this game may have ever had. I really hope they listen to feedback and actually make significant changes. A lot of players are encountering bugs, glitches and lag.

As it isn't on mobile I'm not even bothering with this event... Kinda feels like a way to encourage more pass spending, I'm wondering if the economy is a bit blocked up right now default smiley xd

Then you should be going back to the main event page. I see you only have the mare so you need a stallion to continue.

Do unspent ageing points roll over to the next day? E.g. if I finish today with 5 ephemeral ageing points, will I have 20 tomorrow?

Thanks for the suggestion, I now know that I was simply (if unknowingly) ignoring the 'additional tasks'-button as I have no intention to spend time on such strange event...

Yes. You do not lose any unused ageing points. You should get 15 more tomorrow plus whatever you have left from today.

Is it just me or is something weird going on with the Ephemeral breeding farm? Mine is set to “sort the horses by ‘Age’”, but when I click through the horses’ pages one by one to visit them for the first time after the daily update, the game skips over multiple horses. Once I’ve visited them all/cared for them, they stay put and appear normally.

I think the horses are technically sorted by age, but if you (or at least for me) have multiple horses the same age, they keep reordering themselves and so some end up being skipped if you go through horses’ pages one by one. E.g. I have four horses that are 1 year and 6 months old today. When I logged on, they were in the following order in the breeding farm: C317.92-AP, C305.52-AP, F306.75-AP, F313.33-AP. Once I’d taken care of three of them, and gone back to take care of C317.92-AP when I realised the game had initially skipped over him, the order changed to C305.52-AP, F306.75-AP, F313.33-AP, C317.92-AP. I had not aged any of them. They are all the exact same age. They just kept appearing in different orders.

The same happened with my foals. I woke the first five, stroked and bedded them to complete the ‘stroke 5 horses’ objective, and when I went back to my breeding farm, instead of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th foals being bedded, the 1st, 2nd, 5th, 6th and 8th foals were bedded. I had not changed the “sort by” filter. I had not aged any of them. The game, for whatever reason, simply skipped over the 3rd, 4th and 7th foals even though the foals from 3rd to 8th were all the exact same age.

I have also had this issue. I have ordered them by GP instead as it was really irritating. Hopefully a fix they can do before the next time this game mode runs

I'm not seeing how people are ranking up by getting higher GP horses unless using passes. I have been buying higher GP horses, thus making the males I have made redudant, and then the females are so much lower than the new male, that by the end of the day, I have made a female close to the new male GP, only for the next day there be a higher GP horse that everyone can access. I want to rank up to get the pass rewards but right now I am 97th place, only because I got the new male today, not due to anything I have done in the game.
