Kerry bog / Shetland blup advice please

Hi

I am reaching out because I have an issue blupping a Kerry Bog / Shetland. Advice welcomed please. Looking at genetics the missing bold is jumping yet everything is done. Comps, rides, training. ??

Hi,
You don't just need to get 20 wins from comps, you also to earn skill points from comps. Even if you've completed the jumping training you still need to earn the comp skills before the skill will bold. So try entering your horse into comps where jumping is one of the main skills. It doesn't have to win the comps just compete to earn the skill points.
Hope that makes sense and good luck

Hi yes it does make sense and thank you. I should have said I have entered the mare in copious numbers of competitions gaining jump skills. I guess I was hoping that as a mixed breed I should be looking for something I was missing in gaining bolding in jump. Thanks again, I will persevere

If the pony you're referring to is Felice Delice, I see that she's specialised in Western. The only Western Competition that gives Jump skills is Trail, so be sure to try one of these. If there's any skill gain from entering, that's the missing bit. It definitely isn't a Rides issue, as both Stamina and Dressage are bolded.
