In the third Season of the Ephemeral Breeds event, you can breed Lusitano horses. Increase their genetic potential, become the best breeder of this ephemeral breed, and win gifts.


This event will end on 12/08/2026 14:00.

This time matches the time zone chosen on your account.


How to play?


Click to display
Collect ephemeral horseshoes by completing objectives with your ephemeral horses. These horseshoes allow you to progress through the Season Pass and unlock rewards.

There are 2 types of objectives:
Daily: Can be completed once per day and reset at the daily update.
Seasonal: Can be completed as many times as you wish each day. Some of them change every day.

Once the Season Pass is fully completed, you cannot earn additional rewards or restart the event.


Breeding

In this edition, you will raise Ephemeral Lusitano horses with the following features:
↪ Immortal
↪ Age in 6-month increments
↪ Specialized in Classic
↪ Cannot be registered in an Equestrian Center
↪ Can carry the following Black Market items:
➞ Always allowed: Ploutos' Parchment, Black Orchid, Hypnos' Blanket, Philosopher's Stone, Hera's Lily.
➞ Allowed this season: Philotes' Stroke, Kairos Dial, Achilles' Heel, Kairos Pack, Zeus' Lightning Bolt.
↪ Disappear from your breeding farm at the end of the season.

Two horses are available for sale every day:
↪ For Passes: BLUP 100, 10-year-old horse of the opposite gender to your horse with the best Genetic Potential, with GP equal to that horse's.
↪ For Equus: A foal of random gender, whose genetic potential increases by 10 each day.

Breeding:
↪ Only possible between the horses on your own ephemeral breeding farm.
↪ Veterinary fees double with each covering and reset daily.
↪ After breeding five ephemeral foals, you unlock the ranking.


Ephemeral Aging Points

Ephemeral Aging Points can be used to age Ephemeral Horses.

Obtain them:

On login (15 per day).

Thanks to your loyalty (15 if you log in 5 days straight).

Randomly, when the ephemeral horses you are taking care of wake up.

With Passes (up to 4 times per day).


Season Key

The Season Key, purchasable with real money, allows you to:
↪ Unlock Premium rewards.
↪ Earn +5 Ephemeral Horseshoes per completed daily objective.


Ranking

Click to display
Unlock the player’s ranking after five ephemeral foals' births. Players are ranked based on their horse with the highest genetic potential.
The higher your rank, the more valuable the rewards are.

I'm doing ok I think, no passes spent (just a couple of inventory ZLBs) and I'm currently ranked 45th with 468.64gp and 2701 horseshoes collected. 21 foals bred but I'm only blupping 2 in each generation and using the rest for EphAP hunters and objective completion if I haven't managed it that day with my current bluppers.

Fairly sure I'm going to finish the "free" season key gifts in plenty of time before the end (estimating I'll have reached 3600 in another 4 days, maybe 5) so I'm looking forward to being able to concentrate on breeding to stay above 110th place and not having to worry about objective completion for the last part. The higher ranking gifts are very nice, but as long as I finish with a breeding pair of the new breed I'll be content default smiley :)
