I like it as long as it continues to have passes and other good prizes but next time I’m putting them on a schedule. They do take a lot of time.

Ridiculously expensive, the only was to really progress is by buying the horse each day for 250 passes and adding timers etc, and then more passes for the additional APs, all in all you can spend 500 passes a day on it easily, ok yes you get passes and good prizes but you don’t even get to keep the horses and is is all really worth the money and effort?
Not really, next time I will do enough to get through the initial objectives and qualify to keep the one horse and that’s it.

Can’t play it on the mobile version of the webpage on my phone, so I didn’t participate this time. I know I can access the classic version from my phone, but it’s really hard to work with to do anything. Might have played and enjoyed it if I could play on the mobile web page.

I don't really agree that it was expensive or pay to win

I haven't really been active on howrse in a while and the event made me want to log in every day to care for the event horses until I got all the daily tasks done. I didn't spend any passes and missed a couple days as well and I still feel I managed to get some really nice rewards.

Also, I didn't fully realise that I had to focus on GP to rise in the rankings, the first week or so I purely focussed on getting the tasks done to gain points

I can see how I would have managed to climb much higher in the rankings if I had noticed that earlier, and hadn't missed the days I had

But I thought it was a really good level of difficulty to get the points reward

I do agree though that it was annoying you couldn't do it on the app

I haven't played Howrse for years and happened to log in on a whim when this event was live.

I actually thoroughly enjoyed it and it actually felt like somewhat competitive gameplay. I say somewhat because obviously there were 'pay to win' elements. Personally I would get rid of being able to buy AP points for passes feature and it would actually feel like a competative event that has the potential to include and encourage more players to play.

The event is already farming money from people by having to pay to "win" certain prizes.

I bought the pass, because the rewards were worth it to me (more than a pass pack)

I did not use a single pass to buy APs, or any BMIs and I came 24th. I completed the points days before the end of the event. Its very possible to get good rewards with just playing every day and being very strategic.

The first event with the Appaloosas, I was keen to see an improvement in season pass prizes and was impressed to see the Welsh event had improved that.
It was relaxing to bred and blup while being rewarded for it as a solo player without being in a breeding team.
So the cost of the season pass got me two divines ( It helped me get Friggja who gives Hestia's Gift and I chose Black Hole for Ow's apple ) the gifts and divines were well worth the 15 quid.

I learned my lesson from the last event [ buy the 2000e foal every day and build up an AP farm, I was pulling in many AP's by just looking after them ] I have so many achilles heels collected in my account - it was good to finally find a use for some them.

The only things I hope to see at some stage if this event continues is a fair chance for the non season pass buyers to get better gifts as the free gifts for that grind don't look rewarding... and get rid of those fully blupped horses that cost 250 passes.
Nobody should be able to pay their way to the top... default smiley :s
Wishful thinking here; but a different artwork design for the breed we have been assigned to. It means that the one horse we get to keep is unique in appearance.
