Let’s take a walk down memory lane!

Our Vintage Ride event features assets from old school events that you might have played on Howrse. Make your way on these 5 retro boards and collect cool gifts along the way.


This event will end on 08/07/2025 14:00.

The new divine Ash will be available in the Tyche’s Crown until 16/07/2025 14:00, during the 2 events.


How to play?

Move inside the board by using the spinning wheel. The pawn will automatically move from 1 to 3 squares at once.

Sometimes, you will have the choice between two squares. In that case, the pawn moves only after you have clicked on the square where you want to go among the possible ones.

You can complete the boards multiple times and win the prizes that were left on the path. However, you can only win the main prize once.


Special squares

Click to display
During your ride, you can stop at special squares:

Bonus: Makes you move some steps forward.

Penalty: Makes you move some steps backwards.

Obstacle: You must answer correctly to a horse-riding question to move +1 square forward.

Gift: Grants a reward of your choice among 3 possible gifts.

Divine fragments: Grants some fragments to get Ash.

End: You get a reward and a Cup.


How to get roulette spins?

You can get roulette spins by:

Logging in every day, with a bonus for connecting 5 days in a row.

Doing rides with your horses.

Registering your horses in competitions.

Buying them with Passes.


What are Jokers?

You can buy Jokers instead of spinning the wheel. That way, you can move to the space of your choice within a radius of 3 spaces in front of the pawn.

Dragon Samurai Pack


Complete the event to get the Dragon Samurai Pack. This item includes every tack from the Dragon Samurai set and an extra +10 bonus for each skill.



New: Heracles' Horseshoe
On the last board, you can win the new item Heracles' Horseshoe Reining. Make your horse a champion in Reining by giving it the following bonuses: +6 in Stamina, +10 in Dressage, and +14 in Gallop.


New divine: Ash
Ash is the new divine horse from the Fire series. You can get his fragments in the Tyche’s Crown, by playing the Ride and Hike events, and by completing your Daily Objectives.

Hi there, I just wanted to say that I hadn’t fully understood that a joker costs passes. I thought it said ‘free’ as in free, not X passes. I play Howrse for ‘free’ i.e. without buying pases and this evening I lost 200 passes playing this event. I genuinely hadn’t realised that a ‘free joker’ wasn’t ‘free’. It took me ages to accumulate 200 precious passes. Even here in the description of the vintage rides it says buy a joker but not how much they cost. I’m so disappointed.

I believe you misunderstood the tutorial. During the tutorial for the event, they offer 1 free Joker pass. It's to highlight the feature.

From then on, there's a small '50 [pass icon]' under it showing that it now costs 50 passes.

I echo that.. absolutely loving the number of Harmony Packs.. each time I get close to a gold present I just use the joker to ensure I get the pack.. Very pleased default smiley ^)
