Does anyone know whether it is better to go for some of the bigger UFO prizes or focus solely on ranking? My internet connection went down for a few hours last night and I missed the last 4 UFOs so I do not know whether the ranking is going to work for me this time.

So far - to me at least - it's looking like a pay-to-win if you're wanting a high ranking. I've submitted every prize to the rank points and paid to swap out low point prizes to those of higher value (although not to extortionate amounts), but am still not in the top 20.

If you look below the rankings and prize podium there's a bar indicating which prize you'll get according to your rank beyond the top 3 prizes, so it may be worth looking to see what you want to prioritise. That way, you can keep some of the bigger UFO prizes and still gain a decent prize at the end of the event.

If anyone knows a better way of doing this, do let me know!

imo it's kind of a gamble when switching UFOs, because I could've gotten 25 points, decided to switch it, git a 15 point reward, was kinda upset bc I could've gotten a better one so I switched again and then got a 5 point reward � but I also exchanged a 10 point reward for a 40 point one.

I had really bad luck in all sessions so far (5 to 20 point rewards) but now I've gotten one 40 point and 2 60 point rewards in the last session without exchanging UFOs. also, I wish I would've known that sooner, but pay attention to bonuses- every bonus you use gives you less points. For example you get a 40 point reward, adding one bonus brigns your total to 48, adding 2 brings it to 52, adding 3 brings it to 54 and the 4th one to 55. not sure if those are the exact numbers, but I know it lowers with each bonus, so imo it's better to use one/two bonuses at a time instead of all 4 like I did at first

I'm taking aaaall the gifts and will do a rare exchange if I really hope for a better gift for 200 and eventually 600 equus but that's it.

I've done all the statregies with bonus and all with my lambda ressources, but all the work wasn't satisfying so now I'm just taking all the gifts we're given and refill the inventory which will help a ton =]

50 mashs several times a day is really helpful for me, I would exchange the 5xageing points amongst the gifts to hope for a 'better' one for me ^_^

Since I'm focusing on just taking the gifts and leave, I've been a bad bonus giver, the screen sometimes has a malfunction so it can be time consuming just for the several refreshing to do ^^'

Regretting going for the divine… I’ve missed so many amazing prizes and I’m not even close to top 5…havent kept a SINGLE PRIZE. Howrse needs to put a price cap on the trades or ensure the item will only go up in value. I have spent 300k equus to swap back and forth between 5 and 10 point prizes

this exactly. the game is an extreme game of luck, which is why it's a bit unfair imo. throughout the first few days I mostly got 5, 10 and 15 point prizes. I exchanged a 20 point prize for a 15 point one, then that 15 point one for a 5 point one, then the 5 point one for a 10 or 15 point one (don't remember exactly). I get that it's supposed to be a risky gamble (will you get a better or worse reward) but it kind of sucks bc I've spent way too many equus (and passes to buy more equus) to end up with pretty much nothing. I keep bouncing between 18th and 35th places and I really regret going for the divine because I've spent way too much money and missed out on a bunch of prizes. you can get 4 prizes every 8 hours (some of which are incredible and I could really use) compared to 3 or 4 semi good rewards (depending on what type of player you are some can be useful).

I was personally hoping to end up in the top 20 at least so I can get a Hermes's winged staff for the Nyx's pack but apparently not :/. ah well, lesson leartn, take all the prizes next time and ignore the leaderboard part of the game, it's absolutely not worth it. other than the first three rewards they aren't really all that great tbf
