"It says something like they're going to make it look more the breeds etc.. and since they have the same pic for breeds that look nothing like each other.... I can have dreams okay?!"
- By Phönix

exactly... I hate to have to point this out to howrse, but an Irish Sport Horse doesn't look like a Holsteiner. And a Holsteiner doesn't look like a Hanoverian default smiley (o) Call me sad, but I do like to play 'guess the breed' when there's any Eventing on TV... and believe me, after a while you learn how to tell the difference - it could be the smallest of things. Can't get them all right, of course, but still. default smiley (d) I'd rather different coats for every breed to new breeds being introduced.

The changing of the coats... and the helio's ray / background changes

As that's what I've been so desperately waiting for default smiley (d) particularly the first one.

Most likely last this month or early next month, that's what I heard anyway.

Yes all the new features are exciting and epic but the only thing i'll resent is the tack displaying on my horses
in my opinion it would spoil them and i certainly would not want my ga coat also to be spoilt
hopefully they will have a swtich in the my account tab so you can choose wether you want to see the tack or not otherwise you wouldn't want to see me in my bad mood

Not sure what to make of this. Can you extend the horses background with having to have a HR on your horse in the future? Or is this something that the new HR template has changed?

You can opt out of it on the 'My Accounts' settings when it comes to howrse default smiley ;)

I'm not too sure on it myself. For some horses, it will look great... but for others I won't want it. It would be nice if maybe it only shows when you've worked them for the day. Or you could choose for each horse. I'll be leaving it on at first... and taking it off if it annoys me default smiley :d

The bit I don't like is the ears cap thing... default smiley *-) I don't even know what it's called because I don't like them on any horse. But the rest of the tack looks good.

There won't be tack on GA coats anyway default smiley ;) There's too much difference between the GA's for that to be implemented.

It will be optional. They said that in the comments on the howrseblog.

Why would you even think they would display tack on GAs? It obviously wouldn't work out. The Howrse team aren't THAT incompetent.

an Equestrian Centre spoiler!!
Click to display
Beach, forest and mountain
Then we will add locations for the equestrian centers. That means you will be able to install your center either near a forest, a beach, or even on a mountain.
The presence of such locations will allow us improving the rides, which are currently very tedious for you. There will be only 3 types of rides, instead of the current 7: rides in forest, rides in mountain, and rides on beach. Yes, you won’t have to do a lot of short rides in a day to develop your horses’ speed skills anymore! One lengthy ride a day will be enough.
And thanks to forests, we will probably launch draught horses on the game in order to unload wood! We know you have been asking for them for a long time.

That they'd put tack on GAs?
By Retired breeder, 16th February 2014 19:13:33
that is why i am uneasy they said:
Of course we can’t display tacks in some horses which have a special coat (such as divine horses or horses with a Golden Apple coat for example). But we are working on a solution to highlight tacks on these horses even so.

They said "Of course we can’t display tacks in some horses which have a special coat (such as divine horses or horses with a Golden Apple coat for example). I doubt it somehow. I mean think about it, they have enough to do without messing around fitting tack to EVERY single GA coat... that all have COMPLETELY different positionings, and some of which won't even have room for tack.

I am curious, however, to how pegasus will have a saddle default smiley (o) it doesn't seem physically possible in my mind.

default smiley (d) anyway - Nobody panic! Because there is always the option to hide the tack in the 'my accounts' settings... which I'm sure the majority of us will be doing. I'm glad that we'll have the choice - some people will like this feature, although most seem not to. I'll certainly give it a go... until I get completely annoyed default smiley :d

Well I don't know but as something similar happened to the Helios rays maybe the team will make GA artists resubmit coats with a tack version? And then all future submissions will have to have a tack on version?
I don't know anything for certain but just an idea I'm putting out there

Its possible but the artist would have to make so many coats to account for all the combinations of tack... As players can choose different items to place of each horse :/ I really hope that the 'special' horses remain tack free!
