Geldings and castration

Hello, I'm looking for advice on a horse I own who is a gelding, he was castrated before I owned him, he has done extremely well in competitions so I'd like foals from him, is there a item that reverses the castration or should I change the gender with the item Zeus' bolt, will I be able to breed them if they were previously a gelding before the gender change, any advice/ help is appreciated, Thank you

The Zeus bolt will not change a horse that has been gelded.
Gelding a horse is a permanent action and it simply cannot be reversed.
