How do you best decide if your horse's speciality should be classical or western?

Look at the skill distribution on the genetics tab on your horse's page and compare them to the skills needed for each competition. See which specialty matches up best.

If you are looking to earn equus from competitions, look at competition with the highest skills your horse matches.

If you are looking to get wins for BLUP, then you want to look at competitions that your horse is high in the 2 secondary skills but low in the primary skill. This way your horse can enter low difficulty competitions with a good chance of winning.

You can change your horses specialty until they are 5 years old unless you have the VIP perk to change it at any age.
