Competitions run once in a certain period (e.g. once a day).

If the time period since the last time it ran hasn't yet expired then it won't be open for entries.

E.g. if it last ran at 5pm then it wouldn't be available again until 5pm the next day.

You can see if the competition is open or closed by hovering over the competition in your EC competitions page.

There is also a limit of two of your own horses per race (if thats what you meant by entering 2). If you already have 2 horses entered in the race, it will not show up for you until its been run and open again.

hi, thanks for both the answers. I've thought of all of the obvious stuff as mentioned above. I have my competitions running once per hour.
I check if they are open or not on my EC page, and I keep count of how many horses that I've entered personally as I'm trying to boost the competitions,
Any other ideas?

This is probably going to be unlikely as you've probably already considered this, but I don't see it mentioned already.

Are the comps not showing when entering a divine? Only one divine can enter a comp not specifically set for divines. I've run into it on occasion when trying to find one of my non-divine comps with a divine, then realised after it had run that a divine had already been entered into it by someone else before I'd tried, which blocked me from seeing it with my own divine.

If you're trying to improve the prestige I'd take them off of Selle Francais only and increase the difficulty as well. Probaby worth (when you can) picking up some skillies or even older cheaper ones to help. Capall COnnemaras has a great EC guide including set up for SJ/XC/DRessage elemwents for difficulty settings. It's not just about frequency buit the quality of horses entering.
