Unicorns

Hey,

I've never bred/looked into breeding unicorns but have noticed that all/most unicorns have low skills/GP- is there a reason for this? Why are they not bred to have higher skills?

Hey,
if you check the rankings, unicorn Genetic Potential isn't that far behind the GP of "just" purebred horses.
But market GP is way lower, true.
Also it's harder to progress in unicorn breeding, since the chance of getting a unicorn is wayyy lower than the one you need for non-unicorn-breeding, and you have the break of 10h between 2 coverings.
And then: since their GP is lower than the GP of other horses - why would you use as many BMIs to get them to extremely high skills? They'd still lose against non-unicorns in (high) competitions. I guess that's why breeders usually wouldn't do that.

I'm not breeding myself but that's the reasons I can think of (and some of them I read recently in another versions gameplay forum where someone asked almost the same question ^^ )
