the changes that are being made to the rosettes.. One of the changes are that the person who wins first place for the rosette rankings will win a random divine. It is still unclear at this point whether or not Arion will be removed as a definite prize and added to the pool of random divines that can be won.

This is annoying. At the moment you can win Arion even if you aren't 1st since a breeder who has him already can't win him again.
W/ these changes it will be the same people winning every month. default smiley :'(

I sincerely hope that all those alleged changes are just a horrible joke. Especially considering the changes are live on April 1st...

Saddle horses? Are those normal riding horses and just a bad translation?

Draught unicorns? Really? 3 covers and only a 20/25% chance of getting a horn? Do they also implement Hestia's as permanent BMI then so you can actually raise their GP? If yes, sure give the monkey more money!

And what the heck are towing unis, stroke unis and trait unis supposed to be?

@Windsong
As far as I can see they got names now?

And if they split pony/riding horses. What happens to GAs?
Do they get randomly assigned to the new species? Does the creator has to chose the species? Are those for general use? Are they looking what species uses them more?
And what happens if my riding horse now has a pony coat? Do I get recompensated with a new GA like when the coat gets removed?

How is the catrina brooch changing?

Click to display
The Catrina Brooch isn't actually changing in any way- the coats have just been given names and the Brooch page has a different design. The bewitched pumpkin is also going to be updated to get that same design.

A few more images about the new BMI:

The Iris' Scarf.
Images are linked due to size unless you want screens from a small phone display.
The colour of the coat will be randomly assigned. The breed displayed depends on your actual breed. So don't get confused by the random breeds displaying when you're on the BMI's page. They will change according to the breed/species you want to use the coat on

"Normal" horses
Marwari
Knabstrupper
Fjord

Also:
Winged Draught
Unicorn
Donkey

Any MBs applied after the Scarf will show the wings retroactively

I used 20 so far and the dristribution was as followed:
Rainbow 4
Blue 4
Green 3
Indigo 3
Yellow 2
Red 2
Orange 2
Violet 1

Those who have used the fertility wand (and I assume Hera's also applies) and have received the inherited Iris Scarf have found once twins are aged to 1 year 6 months they can have different coloured coats. default smiley (y)

Exactly.

The inheritance of the coat isn't guaranteed though. After seven covers, only four of them had the coat as well. Five out of those resulting eight foals had a Rainbow coat which is quite high compared to the normal randomness. Also four of them have the same coat as one of their parents.
Both could be coincidence however

you can tell before it is 18 months old what color it will be. Click on the rainbow icon beside the horses name.

If it has no image it did not get any color from the mare.

The second paragraph states how Draft Unis will be released. They are available in HoPs, but given that we can get one every time we open a HoP, it's likely just for testing purposes, and if we do get them in HoPs, it may not be for quite a while.

Sköll, a wolf in the nordic mythology yeah.
Not sure why they call it Skoll & Hati. One is the wolf chasing sun and the other is a warg chasing the moon. So two different personalities.

Regarding the new species:

Click to display
They changed the odds of breeding a draught uni to 2/5. Testers are trying to get Howrse to higher the odds even further. Also, as of now it doesn't look like the VIP perk to increase the odds of getting a uni works on draughts and testers are complaining that Kaktos doesn't offer draught foals. I can't confirm that myself because I dont own a Kaktos, but with all the complaints it's probably true.
