From what we are being told on preprod is there will be no tutorial so I can see some players having problems. I was able to get the prize list though and it does look good there.

No guarantee these combos will be the same when it goes live.

New promo looks interesting - divine is pretty but has anyone else noticed the increasing reliance on buying luck items to actually get these new divines? It really puts me off even bothering to try for the divines.

Got both Opal and the Rooster Gal first try, I agree with you though. Some people aren't as lucky as me default smiley :'(

Sounded a bit selfish default smiley (lol)
I meant that some people spent thousands of passes on those luck items which is a bummer considering how little the divines actually give.

I have to say that the Japanese divines are just not appealing to me. It looks like I will sit out ( meaning just play for the gifts only) all the Japanese themed promos until they deliver better perks.

This sounds almost identical to the Cupcake promo... combine same ingredients to get the next ingredient - combine different ingredients to get prizes...?? default smiley (8)

I hear what you are saying about the Japanese horses but they are no worse than say, the Celtic horses. Aengus gives a Hera pack every 3 months, with an Apollos Lyre and 5 APs monthly in between. The Japanese horses give you a small gift each day, mostly food, tack or equus, sometimes 2* tack (always handy!). But even if it takes 3 months to get their main gift that still puts them on par with the Celtic horses...default smiley :p

You are correct and I am actually liking this promo.

So the next promo and the one after ( which we are testing) are two pretty nice promos back to back. I am glad I saved my resources so I can spend them on these next twp promos.

There has been a new update for AP hunting, I've only noticed the other day due to the lack of APs when doing my 1k horses. They've lowered the amount of points you get, I used to get around 150 but now only 90-110 if I'm lucky. It's apparently to make the game more "fairer" but obviously it isn't. It's disgusting update, it's not really benefiting anyone. Wasting my time bedding 1k horses to get a measly amount, the thing is how is it fair? It's not, you'd be a fool to think it is.

Do you AP Hunt before or after you have done your daily BLUP'n...? If it's after, then you must remember that every time you age your BLUP (without MA) it counts as AP hunting... and you should be seeing your BLUPs being completed using less APs in that instance (I know I am...)

If you do all your AP hunting before you wake any other horse, you should see only a small difference in the number of APs gathered... (supposedly default smiley (8))

The 'fairness' is in relation to the greater number of players that now benefit from receiving more APs. There are no more than about 10 from at most 20 players who ever reach the 1000 horse mark each day - which favours those with the time to spare to sit around AP hunting.

Now those with less time to spare will get a better reward for the limited time they can spend on the game...

That sounds fair to me which, I guess, must make me a fool... default smiley ;) default smiley (y) default smiley xd

There was a change made to the number of APs you will get. That change occurred May 17th. Zowey answered many questions on the International server and apparently the change did not come out as expected.

So it was taken back to the developers and expect a change announcement soon.

As always, I would strongly recommend waiting for any weekend offers for the Ikebana event. I thought I would try without using any offers, and I was averaging just under 50 divine dust for each fleece, which meant it took me 4400 passes (22 fleeces) to get the divine - please note that this does NOT include any divine dust you can make in the promo.

Some good news though, the top prize in the promo, a companion , seemed relatively easy to get on prepod without using any passes, though of course this might change when it goes live.

The companion can be got without any passes if you just continuously put like ingredient to like ingredient until you get two of the highest level flowers.

I will be going for the companion and some gifts but not the divine. Totally disappointed wth any of the Japanese divines.

Memory Game!

Welcome to the Memory contest with a brand new theme: The Bazaar!

Don’t get lost in the Bazaar! Take your time and check out all the items in the market. From zithers to saddles, try to match items together to progress in the contest.

How it works

Same principle as the previous editions:

You will be facing a grid of undiscovered tiles. Turn tiles 2 by 2 to find the same ones. If both tiles are the same, then they stay visible for you.

Once all pairs of the grid have been discovered you can move to the next point on the path to the jackpot!

Careful though, if 2 tiles don’t match, you lose a life.

How to get Lives

at daily connection

when finding a pair of life tiles on some levels
when finding all pairs of tiles from a collection
by buying them
by buying pack of lives during weekend offers

Jokers

Have you ever wanted to do a perfect grid? We're giving you a little help!
3 types of jokers are available:

The Reminder shows between 1 and 5 cards you have already uncovered. The cards are turned over for several seconds. (cost 1000 Equus)
The Family Ties shows all cards belonging to a same family for a few seconds. (30 passes)
The Crystal Ball reveals 3 tiles among those that have never been revealed (80 passes)

Jackpots
Jackpot 1: Loukoum

Jackpot 2: Loukoumi

From the PastriesPastries series.

Loukoum and Loukoumi can give birth to:

- Barb

- Arabian

You can win Loukoum at level 22 and Loukoumi level 33

I wouldn’t count on a new breed for the UK server since the international server already has the Barb, especially since we just had a new breed. For us it will likely just be switched out for a breed we already have.

@Aries

I have it straight from the horse's mouth so to speak

All regional servers will be getting the Barb. It will be a new breed for all servers except the International...so get prepared ...it is coming.

Ooo, where did you hear that? If you don’t mind me asking?

@Aries

On the main international preprod we are able to post directly to the Admin that oversees the promos...Zowey.

We can ask many questions on a one to one basis so if anyone has a question they would like me to pose there, I certainly can do that.

Great Challenge - Derby

Complete objectives to win horseshoes and collect prizes!

Great Challenge Phase

Players will have 3 daily objectives. By completing them, players will win horseshoes that can give the players:

game items, offered immediately after the threshold is met
the commercial offer to get the divine horse more easily during the festivities
As usual, players have 3 days to realize an objective before it disappears.

Helping other Players
If players complete the current day's 3 objectives, they can help other players to complete their objectives. If it is the first time of the day that a player helps another player, they unlock a bonus item that they will receive at the beginning of the festivities.

To help players complete their objectives, they can :
skip the objective by giving a Black Market item to Ow
ask for help from other players by giving Equus, for the 3rd objective of the day

VIP players can try to win the Jackpot Friggja in the Titan’s Challenge before anyone else. They benefit from the commercial offers on divine fragments immediately when they unlock them.

Derby Phase

During this phase, players can play horse races. Automatic races have returned!
They get a free race at the beginning of a day (according to the community goal of the Great Challenge part).

They can also buy them with Equus but the price increases each time.

How it works

When the player starts a race, they can choose which horse they will play.
During the race, players have to launch a ball towards the holes.
[TIP] Players can decide the speed of the ball by adjusting how long the mouse button is held before releasing.
After the launch of the ball, the choosen horse moves according to the value of the hole.

Then, other horses also move. The player has to launch balls until their horse arrives at the finish line. At the end of a race, players receive flags. The better the position of the player’s horse in the race, the higher the number of flags she/he will get.

Players can use Bonus Items to help them win a race.

Bonus Items
Only 1 Bonus item per launch can be used

How to get Bonus items :
when helping other players during the Great Challenge part
when asking some to my friends (by giving Equus, and in a limited quantity). (And players can offer some to their friends who have asked for them, with a limit of 1 per friend per day)
when winning competitions with horses
from special UFOs
when buying BM items with passes (except for Black Pearl and Aging points items)

Jackpot

The divine is at level 7 of the TCs and the fragments are very low. So for those going for her definitely wait until you get the best multiplier.
