Why does Owlient collect your personal data?

The information collected through the account creation form (e-mail address, date of birth, username, password, sponsor ID) are stored by Ubisoft Entertainment (107 avenue Henri Fréville – BP 10704 – 35200 RENNES), of which Owlient is a subsidiary, in order to create your game account and allow you to play Howrse.

Your date of birth is required to make sure you meet the minimum age requirement to play the game.

The My Account section in Howrse allows you to edit certain information: your e-mail address, password, gender and username.

What happens if you do not provide your personal data?

The use of your personal data is based on your consent and is required to fulfil the contract you have with Owlient and confirm that you agree with the general terms and conditions of our services. The information collected on the account creation form (excluding your sponsor's ID) is required to create your Howrse account. If you do not supply this information, you will not be permitted to play Howrse.

You may withdraw your consent by deleting your Howrse account at any time. To request the deletion of your game account, please contact Owlient's customer service by clicking the following link: https://www.howrse.co.uk/support.

Where and for how long will your personal data be stored?

Your personal data will be stored and processed only within the member states of the European Union.

Your information is stored for the duration of your Howrse account. Upon deleting your account, some of this data will be stored for as long as legally required.

Who will have access to your personal data?

Your personal data will be accessed solely by Owlient and Ubisoft, their data processors and, subject to your consent or in the event we receive no objection to such use, by their partners.

What are your rights?

You can request to access, rectify, object to, erase, or restrict the processing of your personal data or exercise your right to data portability for all data related to you and that is being processed by Owlient by contacting customer services at the following link: https://www.howrse.co.uk/support.
