There's no collection for Iris coats?

The trophy section on profile pages now looks horrendous. Removing that asap

I like the concept but the artwork leaves everything to be desired

However, I absolutely HATE the new layout. On the old layout I loved that your could see all of your trophies on the one page and with just a simple click on them you could see more detail. Highlighted got, greyed out not got. Simple and effective. This is just over complicated and unnecessary. I know I'll eventually get used to it but there was nothing wrong with the way it was!
I can only speak for myself but the thing I love about collecting is being able to see your whole collection - So shiny!!! So many!! I want to see "my precious" and what I've achieved NOT percentage bars showing me what I've not accomplished, Its actually demoralising and a turnoff for me.

You can't please everyone and I'm sure there will be plenty of people who love it, but its a big NO from me.

Buying & selling horses for trophies was always fun and looks like that has now gone - to get a trophy you need to add the item, you can't just buy a horse with it on.

Yes you can still buy horses for the collections but that looks to me like all or nothing, doesn't look like any staging posts between 0% and 100% and the chances of owning 100% of the silver apple coats ....


As a by the by, is there anyway to get rid of a non sellable divine these days? I really really didn't want a Tarpan as it mucks up the probabilities of getting rare coats as far as I understand it. I'd rather bin it if I can. Anyway of doing this nowadays?

So basically horses with GA coats are useless now? And retired coats are just a 'collection'? I like the rewards part but it should have incorporated all of the previous customization trophies. Just No...

I like the new collections, but the new trophies look like they could use some more work.

Please bring in trading divine horses - no one needs two Tarpan horses.

I got Tarpan the first time and got Tiny (Falabella) the 2nd. So I think the divines do change.

I like the idea of the prize incentives for the now-trophies, however it did just... work, before.

The previous trophies looked nice, and as someone who was working (slowly) on collecting them its quite disappointing to have lost that display. I just don't think the Collections have that desirability to them, sadly.

I wonder how many long standing pass-buying players are now going to move their money elsewhere? I think that once the Xmas packs are done that’ll be my lot on this game.

It would’ve been much appreciated if instead of changes no one asked for on something that wasn’t broken, continuing with interesting events and divines or the consistent lag was a focus of the dev team; I can’t count how many times every single day without fail my page refreshes while I care for a horse, or auto competition entry lags and I end up with an overworked horse, or just trying to move between pages I see the endlessly spinning Ow face. I don’t get why this couldn’t have been added as something new while leaving the original trophies as they were.

God this is so terrible!! I can't even see what trophies/collections I have on my page?? I guess the rewards are nice but the old way literally did not need to change. Everything is just way too overcomplicated now. The collection page is useless imo and I don't really understand why it's there - it's definitely less satisfying to collect stuff now, especially with those percentage bars

This is very disappointing and totally confusing too!

Did not expect to log in for the day and be spammed with bmi (which was lovely to receive) but there was no indication what I had achieved these for. Great, I have 57 bronze trophies?? But what even is a bronze trophy?? And how do I suddenly have 57 of them??

Also, the graphics of the trophies are hideous. I was so proud to present all my trophy collections on my page before, but now the trophies actually make me cringe. Please say there is some way to remove them!

Definitely very disappointed, as I can tell most players are. Hopefully it’ll start to make some sort of sense as we get used to the new system. But a very unnecessary change…

I was happily working on collecting all the coats - I enjoyed the little horse icons to show you had achieved it! Simple pleasure but it made me wanna do it…

Now I don’t really know what to do? I don’t understand why they had to change the display for them? I don’t know what trophies I have anymore, nor do I fully get what counts for trophies vs collections now - is there any point in me gathering the coats?

I thought the concept of prizes for earning them was great - but I don’t like how they’ve actually implemented it at all!

It's like they've decided to mash up trophies and the "new player" objectives for those who have completed them in the worst way possible.

Yes having incentive to enter competitions and collecting an impressive looking pile of manure (a metaphor for the way this game is heading at the moment...) is lovely and all, but I feel like my special coats are all useless and have been shoved into the back of a wardrobe.

There's no Iris coat collection, for a start. I don't know who messed that up considering there are 8 coats to collect in that set and when the item was first introduced the Howrse team kept going on how great it was. So great they forgot it in the update, great going guys!!!

Retired coat collections feel useless, a waste of passes if it wasn't for the eye candy of them. Golden Apples weren't meant to be a trophy when the update was teased on PreProd, so I don't see why the team was able to implement that as a trophy (granted it's very slapdash, you could have at least had a trophy for "coat of each colour" and "coat of each species" like before) but not the retired coats?

Also, Helios Rays have been missed out too? My collection of I think around 700 of those is now rendered useless, when seeing how many landscapes I could get became a fun little pastime. I don't want to collect Ow's Rays because they are (mostly) ugly, stop pushing them on us.

If all the feedback from players had been listened to and taken into account, it may have been a different story, but you've managed to make a perfectly functioning and aesthetically pleasing to look at area of the game and turn it into something that resembles Frankenstein's Monster of a mashup between new and old.

the only good thing i like about the new trophies (prizes for completing too) is that you can now find which horses you have have each specific companion/ special coat. Well you can see one of the horses (would be better if it showed all).

there's definitely still some things that need ironing out, past us having to get used to new layout. i just don't understand why they needed a complete overhaul of something that wasn't broken. and now they lost a big income for RCs? doesn't seem like a smart business move. They made some improvements from when it was first announced but its not there yet imo

i do however like how youre rewarded for completing actions with your divines, and i know more are coming but will be interesting to see how they do this for divines like the falas that have now lost a trophy.

Pros:
We now get rewards for collecting trophies, which gives players more incentive to collect them.

Cons:
I can’t see (or at least don’t understand how to see) which trophies I already have. I know I have 48 bronze trophies for example, but I can’t tell you what any of them are. Individual trophies/collections have also gone from profile pages. I loved rearranging mine. People should be allowed to show off their hard work. If we wanted to look at numbers on a page, we could just look at the rankings.

The new layout is poorly designed and difficult to navigate - particularly in collections. There’s no reason why the images need to be that big, and in some cases (e.g. the animal companions) the images can’t even fit onto one page. The old page was simple yet effective. Just one click and you could see a full list without needing to scroll for ages and/or change pages.

I don’t understand how Tarpan is meant to benefit my game. If anything, he’s just going to make it more difficult for me to collect the coats I don’t have yet. Tarpan is closer to a punishment than a reward, unfortunately.

I don’t understand why trophies and collections are separated. They were fine altogether before as trophies. Now it’s overcomplicated for no reason.

The divines page in collections is pointless. With the old trophies page, we could see how many divines we had at a glance, and each completed set got us a trophy. Now we don’t get those two things and the images have been enlarged, it’s no different to the dedicated ‘Special Horses’ page. We don’t need ‘Special Horses’ and the exact same page (minus the descriptions) under collections. This new feature adds nothing to the game.

I don’t like the percentage bars for trophies. Before, we could see exactly how much progress we’d made. Telling me I’ve won 7000 out of the 10,000 comps I need to win (for example) is more useful than saying 70% complete. I don’t want to do the math every time to work out how much more I need to do.

Despite being called trophies, there isn’t a single image of a trophy anywhere. The circle-shaped things with ribbons are called medals.

There seem to be a lot of other trophies/collections that have vanished without an explanation - e.g. 15 years anniversary, Iris coats, account birthdays, Helios Rays, a horse born every month for the past two years…I’m sure there are loads more.

To summarise:
Wouldn’t it have made more sense to just add the rewards to the old trophies page and leave the rest of it alone? Yes, it looked a little outdated, but it worked fine and was easy to navigate. All you’ve done is spread a fraction of the information from that one page over who knows how many new pages, and enlarged the pictures/fonts to make it look like there’s more new/updated content than there actually is.

Who comes up with these changes and thought it was necessary?? We've been saying for a while now that not everything needs fixing, especially when it works just fine. But you DON'T LISTEN Could've just added the rewards without changing the whole layout

What would it take to stop with this nonsense? Maybe losing loyal players would do the trick...

Maybe players are now paying for being able to remove these displeasing trophy icons from their pages?

I miss the old trophies because I liked the aesthetic and looking at other players' collections. I like the fact that we get rewards now but I am not too keen on anything else.

I very rarely comment publicly on anything but this latest update has me incredibly frustrated. There was quite literally NOTHING wrong with the previous trophy system, and frankly, it was all I was playing the game for. I was enjoying collecting coats.

Having been very much absent for the past few years because of how dull the game has become, the trophies were the only thing keeping me here.

The new layout is confusing, and the trophy section on players' pages is frankly pretty unsightly. Have the coat trophies been removed altogether, as I cannot see them anywhere?

I cannot see any comments from the admin or developers, when it is clear there is outrage at this recent update. Are they just not listening to players now? I can think of plenty that could be done to improve gameplay and draw players back in, but the trophy change was NOT one of them.
